It’s a very special Halloween in February episode as we’re treated to the show’s 2nd Festival, Halloween in the Commonwealth. What spooky movies will they be playing in the cinema? How many people will they lose to last-minute projector bulb runs? What’s the most inconsiderate fright that a sheltered population could fill their haunted house with? Find out with us on this week’s podcast!
Star Trek: Picard returns next week for season 2 and that means it’s time for The Podcast Maneuver to return as well. Join us for some discussion about the trailer and our plans for season 2 coverage.
We didn’t get much feedback on this episode but we consider what we have. For next week, we’ll combine the feedback with the following week’s recap podcast (ep. 11) so keep your eye out for that. If we return to full feedback capacity before the end of this chunk of episodes we’ll return to the…
Steve and Anthony talk about one of the funniest episodes of the first season. They also discuss Eleven’s Matrix-style self-projection and Hopper’s action-hero career. Join the discussion: book@baldmove.com | Discord | Reddit | Forums Follow us: Instagram | LeDonneBooks.com
The Walking Dead is back for the second, but not final, premiere of the eleventh season and so are we to praise it where it’s good (yes, it’s occasionally good) and to blow it up like it was hit by the hwacha when it’s bad (it often is). Join us for the podcast to find out what we thought.

Ok, we spend a few minutes on Peacemaker, The Expanse books 6 & 7, and Andy Weir’s latest book too, but it’s mostly Yellowjackets.
The season finale of The Book of Boba Fett didn’t exactly wow us despite a near-hour-long action sequence that includes pretty much every character that has ever appeared on screen in Star Wars or any other cinematic universe. (I think Goofy is even in the background somewhere.) Join us for a discussion about what worked and what didn’t, but if you’re a big fan of what’s been happening on Book of Boba this season… maybe skip this one.
Steve and Anthony delve deeply into an amazing showcase for Dustin and Lucas. They talk about Steve Harrington’s heel turn and the temptations attached to Eggo waffles. Then they discuss the backdrop of John Hughes and Sixteen Candles.
In addition to discussing the nexus of plots that is Chapter Five, Steve and Anthony talk about homages of Breakfast Club, Evil Dead, LOTR, and E.T.
