Andor - S02E05 – Chapter 13: The Jedi
This might be the biggest episode yet of The Mandalorian. The Ahsoka episode that everyone has been waiting for is here. And not only that, but we also get some backstory on “Baby Yoda”. Next stop, Boba-town!

This week’s Off the Clock covers A.Ron’s rewatch of Avengers: Infinity War, as well as Netflix’s “The Trial of the Chicago 7” and Blake Crouch’s sci-fi book “Recursion.”
In this week’s episode of Fargo, the drug war is heating up… wait, I think I’ve said that before. In fact, it’s been heating up for at least half the season now. And while things have certainly progressed, with bodies in the streets and gang shootings in the papers, the ambition of this season’s storytelling make it somehow feel like the war is still simmering away on the back burner with just a single episode left. Join us for the podcast to get our full episode breakdown.
Oh, you were expecting Ahsoka to show up the episode after she’s name-dropped? That’s just too bad. We’ve still got secondary characters to service! Like Cara. What’s she been up to since Mando left? And Greefe? He definitely needs some screentime. Not to mention Boba Fett was shown two full episodes before Ahsoka’s name even hit a character’s lips. No friend, we’ve got a LONG way to go before the Ahsoka episode. In the meantime, we do get some solid action and speculation-fodder for Moff Gideon’s plans if he ever gets his hands on Baby Yoda.
Have you seen The Wizard of Oz? If so, you’ve already seen this episode of Fargo, or some dream-like version of it anyway. Join us for our discussion of the plot and thematic similarities between The Wizard of Oz and East / West, the future of Satchel and Rabbi, and all things Cohen as we go into the final two episodes of the season.
This week’s episode is on the shorter side and, while it’s not as entertaining as the previous two episodes of the season, pushes the plot forward with the discovery of a few new Mandalorians, as well as a big reveal about Mandalorian sub-cultures that kinda blew our minds. Join us on the podcast for the full discussion.
There’s an ironic quality to the name of this episode, The Nadir, given that the previous two episodes were our least favorite of the season. This episode is a return to form with some excellent Raylan Gi– er, Marshal Deafy scenes, a lot more action in the gang war, and trouble all around for nurse Mayflower. Join us for the podcast to get our full take.
The Mandalorian takes us on a side-quest escort mission away from our story question of learning more about Baby Yoda. Then it derails that side-quest to pay homage to Aliens and the original Star Wars concept art with an icy subterranean adventure. Honestly, I loved every second of it. Join us for the podcast to hear our detailed thoughts on season 2, episode 2 title “Chapter 10: The Passenger”.
Another connective episode that has been chopped and screwed from other episodes into its final form leaves us not dissatisfied, but not exactly blown away either. We hear good things about the remainder of the season though, so the pace should pick up from here on out. Join us for a discussion of the episode as well as some corrections and questions from the listeners.
The Mandalorian season 2 is upon us and we’re delighted. The first episode is a fun-filled hour packed to the brim with Star Wars references, high-profile guest stars, and promise for what’s to come. Join us for the podcast and submit your feedback for next week at mando@baldmove.com.
