That was a metalhead finale we can cheer for. It came down to the wire and Eleven’s arms were extending while she screamed, of course. BUT the Duffer Brothers delivered a gut punch that made us remember why we love this show. While Jim is condemning pineapple pizza to The Upside Down, A.Ron is happy to report that this episode delivers in stakes, pacing, and surprises.
David Simon ends his statement in a finale that leaves us both heartbroken and hopeful. The bad guys in blue are behind bars, but that’s not enough. The current broken system will churn out more. Does Jenkins, and people like him, truly realize that they are part of the problem? How far can this situation push until it breaks people like Nicole Steele? It makes us ask the question, what does it mean to truly do good and create a justice system based on rehabilitation and redemption?
The magnetic containment unit experienced core meltdown, and the feedback is smoking. With the madness of this season it’s no surprise your feedback covers the gamut from bad borg face effects to the nonsensical character arc closures. What do we want in season three? A full cast reunion sharing a scene together. We don’t want Patrick Stewart to catch covid, but when else are we going to have the chance to see this?

Set phasers to mildly entertained. There were a few good moments sprinkled amongst the madness. Q and Picard’s relationship comes to a somewhat satisfying end with Picard now unshackled from his past decisions. The road getting here was rough, but was it worth the journey? And A.Ron has been cured of Jurati syndrome. Thank you for all the sympathy cards.
