Amsterdam (2022)

“History repeats itself”, says another David O. Russell film pondering existential themes. When three old friends get wrapped up in a murder-mystery conspiracy, only their wits and friendship will get them out. Along the way they’ll turn ugly things into beautiful things and question the meaning of patriotism all while Christian Bale does his top tier Peter Falk/Columbo impression. This movie has a question for you, “Will you fight to protect kindness?”

And keep an eye out for our next First Run movies: Black Adam and Wakanda Forever!

Watch out WWF because it seems like TWD is trying to replace you. With lots of people lending a helping hand, this episode is filled with nice moments where we get to see the characters connect. It doesn’t matter if you’re in Westeros or Alexandria, if you’re a bastard child, your DNA will rebel against receiving the mantle from your parent-figures. And buckle up for Jim’s wild food theories and rant against caramel apples.

But we won’t let the ash cloud rain on our parade! The buddy show that is Durin and Elrond’s friendship is still top tier entertainment. And finally, A.Ron and Jim unveil their Orc Voices.

Up (2009)

Grab a handkerchief and listen in to Jim and A.Ron fight back a few tears to chat about this movie.
