This is not a drill. A.Ron convinced Jim to read a fantasy novel. GASP! The guys are getting back into the spirit of House of the Dragon by reading Fire and Blood by George R.R. Martin. Listen and read along as the book is held up to the show. There will be no spoilers for anything that hasn’t happened in season one of House of the Dragon.
It’s a slick episode of Shogun. Mariko, played by Anna Sawai, has been a stand out character since the pilot. In this episode she unleashes her full power and charges full steam ahead into battle. Yabushige is just as psychotic and humorous as before. Would he make a last minute “conversion” to save his own skin? It might be the laugh Jim and A.Ron need after this episode.
Director Guy Ritchie brings his style to the classic myth in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017). With the great cast and fun design, why did it get 30% on Rotten Tomatoes? Jim and A.Ron are here to hash that out. It has bigger elephants than Lord of the Rings, but the story is all over the place. Is this movie made of the stuff of legend?
