Jim and A.Ron, intrigued by AMC’s upcoming “Into the Badlands” and ongoing “Kung Fu Fridays”, decided to do a little something to get into the spirit. So we queued up the Jackie Chan classic, “Drunken Master 2”, aka “The Legend of Drunken Master”, and recorded ourselves watching it. Is that interesting or entertaining? Hell if we know, maybe you can let us know. Use the embedded video to sync up your personal copy or stream with our commentary, and see if our Bald Move technique is unbeatable!
In this week’s episode, we learn that Jim is a horrible plant daddy, that A.Ron’s sleep has been Taken, and the guys have some petty First World problems with various streaming services as they hint at some future projects and features coming to Club Bald Move. Check out the ShowGoers.TV site if you’re interested in the remote shared streaming solution we discussed today. It’s free!
Jim and A.Ron look into a fairly polarizing episode of Breaking Bad, episode 310, “The Fly”. Some see it as a slow, ponderous, pointless exercise in budget cutting, while others see a beautiful, rich, thematic character study resting entirely on the performances of Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston. Listen in to find out which side of the divide we fall on!
Jim and A.Ron mourn the loss of their nine days of end-of-civilization goodness they were confronted with in episode 104, “Not Fade Away”. We discuss the softer side of Team Barbershop, Madison’s potentially not-so-secret past as an alcoholic, the flimsy, one dimensional banality of evil represented by Lt. Moyer, and debate a few theories of what we’ll discover on arrival at the nearby military hospital facility. All this and tons of great community feedback, coming your way.

Much thanks to Nick Knol for commissioning the 2000 Christopher McQuarrie film, “The Way of the Gun”, starring Ryan Phillippe, Benicio del Toro, and Juliette Lewis. As dark, gritty, violent, funny, post-Tarantino quasi-western fable, we found a lot to enjoy, but wondered if the plot was too convoluted for it’s own good. In this we discuss questionable obstetrics, geriatric hitmen, and our inner outlaws.
Jim and A.Ron just got done watching Fear the Walking Dead’s latest episode, “Not Fade Away”, and we have some thoughts. On bratty citizens, on filthy pool water, and parental slapping.
