Bald Move Prestige - Pulp Fiction (1994)

Hey, it’s our first ever community commissioned podcast! Thanks to eight intrepid members of the Bald Move community for pitching in and making this podcast happen. Pulp Fiction is a Tarantino classic, starring Sam Jackson, John Travolta, Uma Thurman along with many others. It’s funny, it’s violent, it’s cool as hell, it is watchable as all hell, features a lot of interesting structural and visual details, and offers some of the all time best dialog ever. We love this film, and we hope you all love the podcast. If you want another Bald Move take, check out Eric and Levi’s Direct podcast covering Pulp Fiction.

Direct - Edgar Wright – Hot Fuzz

A quaint place in the country unfolds into a nightmare conspiracy of devious proportions. We watched Hot Fuzz this week, and took in the lunchable mega-sandwich that is the screenwriting wizardry of Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg. This movie folds in on itself more times than the Tasmanian Devil doing origami, and we couldn’t get enough! Join us next week for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

Direct - Edgar Wright – Shaun of the Dead

It’s a rip-roarin’ zombie adventure with TONS of heart. We watched Shaun of the Dead this week and used it as an opportunity to have deep existential conversations. This comedy where a kid has to blow his mom’s head off, contemplate suicide, and make amends with his dying step-father was a real treat! Join us next week as we watch Hot Fuzz.
