Bald Move Space Program – Ep 4 – Nav Thumper
Jim finally decides it’s time to learn the nav ball in what is our closest attempt yet at the total destruction of Perth. We’re still half a planet away but we’ve got them surrounded.

Our time with Fincher has come to a close. What a wonderful filmography. Well done, sir.
Cecily and A.Ron discuss “Chapter 2” of American Horror Story’s sixth season, including some crazy mom moments, spooky kid talking ghosts, the best kind of found footage (involving Russell Edgington, of course), and debate whether wicker pigs are a terrifying means of home grown terrorism, or just a way to be neighborly. I mean, who says no to pork?
Jim and A.Ron have decided that USA’s Mr. Robot has done enough in “eps2.9_pyth0n-pt2.p7z”, to get us re-invested and excited for the potential of the next season. It’s not been a prefect season, and some of Esmail’s high risk, experimental approaches haven’t always gone as smoothly as we’d have liked, but at the end of the day, the fact that there is nothing else like it on television mitigates a lot of the frustration we’ve felt over the show’s pacing and plodding mysteries. What did you think? We consider a bunch of feedback for this week’s episode on the show, but next week we’ll be back for a final wrap up episode where we get to process this season and look ahead to the next one.
It’s just before our move to the new studio and this might be the lunch that brings the whole thing down.
What do you get when you take the classic Western remake of an original piece of Japanese film-making art, and add Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Vincent D’Onofrio, and Ethan Hawke to the mix? A sum that is less than it’s parts, that’s what. Enjoy our spoiler-free review of the movie and a discussion of upcoming movies and trailers on the house, but if you want to listen to us crack wise on D’Onofrio and Hawke’s accents, you’ll have to be a Club Member to gain access to our full spoiler podcast. Why not join today? It’s quick, easy, and helps support our independent podcasts!
After an off-week last Tuesday, Halt and Catch Fire is back to form with episode 6. Jim and Eric sit down to talk about the entire lying Clark family, Bangin’ Bos, and the new horizons for Joe, among other things. As always, there’s a new Tandy Shandy recipe as well.
Josh Black stepped forth to commission the mind blowing 2008 film, Pontypool. Starring the very underrated Stephen McHattie, and directed by veteran cult filmmaker Bruce McDonald, Pontypool is set in a small Canadian town where a humbled former shock jock takes on the job of talking about the sleepy local news in the wee hours of the morning. And then something big happens. I really can’t tell you more without spoiling a great film that should be seen by a lot of people, and right now you can see it streaming from among other places, Netflix, so I encourage you to give it a whirl before listening to this podcast. Things get crazy and “deep” in the way things sometimes do on these podcasts. Do not translate this message.
Jim and A.Ron are back with a final sign off for Game of Thrones for 2016, wrapping up our season one coverage with a comparison from season one to G.R.R.M.’s A Game of Thrones novel, and tons of listener feedback.
