It’s a good thing they released these first two episodes of Better Call Saul season 6 on the same night because Nacho’s story really needed it. It’s not exactly the most interesting TV to watch a man run north and hide in a motel. They do what they can though. Aside from that, there’s a lot to love about this one. Mike pulls some Mike stuff to scrub any evidence that might link Gus to the Lalo problem, while leaving a whopper of a question for us to ponder. And it’s the return of the Kettlemans who Jimmy and Kim incorporate into their progressing scheme to take down Howard and get that sweet Sandpiper money.
Better Call Saul is back! Join us in the cathedral of justice for S06E01 “Wine and Roses” for a slight twist on the Better Call Saul season opener. This first episode is doing a lot of heavy setup but there are also a couple standout scenes including the beginning of Operation: Take Down Howard and a never-before-seen view into Saul Goodman’s life.
There’s so much feedback, the crystals that sealed the Magnetic Containment Bottle have burnt out. We were offered an explanation on why Borg-Jurati sings that Pat Benatar song, but do we accept it? And please Paramount, put subtitles on the screeners.

Ogres and onions aren’t the only things that have layers anymore, join us as we try to track a couple different plot lines through multiple layers of nonsense. It’ll have you asking important questions such as, is Q a sociopath or party animal? Is Borg-Jurati getting a high off of smashing windows? If you love Star Trek, maybe this isn’t the episode for you, but if you like absurd comedy, this is right up your alley. Maybe there’s too much snakeleaf going around.
