Better Cast Saul - 104 – Hero

Jim and A.Ron loved this episode, number 104 of Better Cast Saul, “Hero”, which we see as a huge step forward in tone, pacing, and world building. We got a kick out of seeing the origins of “S’all good, man”, giant trashy bill boards, the bridging of the gap between Slippin’ Jimmy and Saul, the deepening of his relationship to Kim, further Nacho entanglements, and lots and lots of butthole to go around. All this, and a ton of your insight, expertise and fan theories, coming right at you!

Watching Dead - A Walking Dead Podcast - 511 – “The Distance”

Welcome to our coverage of The Walking Dead episode 511, “The Distance”. A fine episode, most exciting due to the fact that we arrive at an intriguing new location with the hope of intriguing new characters, heroes, and villains to get to know and new situations and scenarios to explore. But, much like a darkened route 23 at night, we hit a few bumps on the way. Applesauce, broken ankles, a recalcitrant Rick, a zero turning radius RV, and broken shell acorn paste. Alls well that ends well, and five seasons in, we are once again stoked for the potential of The Walking Dead again. Lord, what fools these podcasters be.

Everybody Loves Reagan - 304 – “Dimebag”

On this week’s The Americans on FX, episode 304, “Dimebag”, things get pretty gross.  Phillip wrestles with recruiting an underage daughter of a CIA official, Elizabeth throws down the guantlet on Page and then Jesus Christ our Lord Himself, Stan learns how to get in touch with his boring-ass inner self, and Nina find intrigue in track suit prison.  Ah, The Americans:  If stuffing a woman into a suitcase and pulling teeth on screen won’t “nope” you out, how about child predation?  All this and some feedback that has the guys rethinking things.  Have a great weekend!
