Jim and A.Ron continue their re-watch of season one of HBO’s Game of Thrones series, focusing on episode 105, “The Wolf and the Lion”. Tyrion gets a room with a view, Catelyn regrets some recent life choices, Robert and Ned have a falling out, and Ned used to be an adventurer like you, and then… well, you know.
Panic Room is a balanced thriller with great pacing, excellent characters, and top-notch performances. It’s a movie that puts you in a big house and makes it feel claustrophobic. Fincher continues with his “making the big feel small” theme and delivers a beautify, clippy experience. It’s a fun watch.
Hang in there! Jim and A.Ron are here for you with analysis of USA’s Mr. Robot episode 205, “eps2.3_logic_b0mb.hc”. We got all the Raspberry Pi, embedded spectrogram imagery, coded sexual spectrum speak, and 0-day reverse shell exploits you can handle.
Lunchtime once again and there’s nothing on the menu but Jim and A.Ron. Please, help yourself.

Jim and A.Ron saw the latest installment of DC’s attempt at bootstrapping a mega-billions interconnected super hero franchise, “Suicide Squad”. As an answer to question of who you gonna call when an Evil Superman ever comes calling, we don’t think it makes much sense, but we’re a bit more divided on the questions of “is it fun?” and “is it entertaining?”
Special thanks to Tyler Shumway for commissioning a podcast for three of his favorite episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the 1997 television adaptation of the movie of the same name, spearheaded by Joss Whedon. Tyler wanted our thoughts on episode 410, “Hush”, 516, “The Body”, and finally the musical episode, 607 “Once More With Feeling”. Are reactions are a bit mixed, but lively and spirited debate ensue, and A.Ron gets choked up thinking about robots having babies.
On the Rocks is back at last with the next drink on the IBA list: Between the Sheets.
