A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Podcast - 210 – Valar Morghulis

Jim and A.Ron finish our retrospective re-watch of season two of HBO’s Game of Thrones with the finale, “Valar Morghulis”.  It’s a typical GoT finale, in that it does a great job of setting up the next season as something you can barely wait to arrive.  Arya could start super assassin training!  The White Walkers are marching on the Night’s Watch!  Dany’s dragons can spit fire!  We talk about these topics and a ton of last minute feedback before signing off with some spoilers for season 2 as well as debating a few lingering season 7 stuff in the secluded SpoiLore section.  See you next year!

American Horror Story Podcast - 710 – Charles (Manson) in Charge

We’ve seen the latest from FX’s American Horror Story: Cult, “Charles (Manson) in Charge”, and it turns out that it’s all the women’s fault!  We should have known it the whole time!  A.Ron and Cecily try to figure out where Murphy is going as he crosses the double yellow and veers into oncoming traffic a final time before next week where maybe things will make sense!

Jim and A.Ron were blown away by the latest real time “oner” episode of USA Network’s Mr. Robot, “eps3.4_runtime-err0r.r00”.  We think the technique was employed skillfully here, increasing the drama, tension, and immediacy.  We’re also left with a lot of questions regarding the state of Stage 2, Angela’s relative hacking skills, the nature of Mr. Robot’s relationship with Elliot, and we’d love to know exactly what Darlene is up to, and how much of her plan the FBI has signed off on.  More answers surely to come, but this was a fun ride! 

Bald Move Prestige - Murder on the Orient Express (2017)

Bald Move Pulp - Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983)

Once again commissioner Fernando Rodriguez (you may better know him as FernNYC17 on our forums) steps up with a choice selection, this time the oft maligned Return of the Jedi.  Often dismissed as derivative or childish when compared to A New Hope or The Empire Strikes Back respectively, we have nothing but love for the climax of the story of Skywalker.  It’s got the best space battle, the best lightsabre battle, and the best puppets in all of Star Wars.  The Special Edition changes?  Not so much love.
