Top Gun: Maverick (2022)

Top Gun: Mission Impossible does not disappoint. With some astounding face-stretching fighter jet stunts and a story with a good amount of heart, watching this movie is an exciting experience. Though at times formulaic, there are enough cool things going on to distract you from asking, “But does this really make sense?” too many times. Watch the era of the manned fighter jets come to a close in this heart-racing sequel keeping step with its 36-year-old predecessor. We’ll be back in two weeks with another first run movie: Jurassic World Dominion.

The Truman Show (1998)

The Truman Show is an amazing movie that was successful despite its marketing and its star, Jim Carrey, being an unknown dramatic quantity. And as good as it was in 1998, it might be even better today. Join us for a tale of a man who lives in a world of deceit, surveillance, embedded ads and science-fiction-sized wave machines.

Bald Move Prestige - Glengarry Glen Ross (1992)

Eric Cunanan commissioned us to watch the classic 1992 drama, Glengarry Glen Ross, directed by James Foley and based on the stage play by David Mamet. If megawatt star power (Al Pacino, Jack Lemon, Ed Harris, Kevin Spacey, Alec Baldwin, Alan Arkin among others), crisp, lyrical, profane dialog, and meditations on the death of the American Dream sound like something you’re into, you should give this movie a shot if you haven’t already.
