The working title for this episode was allegedly “Garbage In, Garbage Out”, which might have been more suitable given what we thought of the episode. There are a few redeeming qualities, but they sorta painted themselves into a corner last week, then doubled down with a few unforced errors. Join us for the podcast to…
It’s our first feedback episode of the season and we’re ready to talk about what turned out to be a pretty unpopular episode among our audience. Join us for the podcast to hear what they had to say.
Here it is. The final season! AMC is finally shooting The Walking Dead in the head to put it down once and for all. The only question is, will it go out with a violent gory splash and a mouthful of flesh, or will it lay down in the road and wither into a desiccated pile of bones? Check out the podcast to find out what kind of start it got off to.
This is the one we’ve been waiting for. Carol sends Negan on a spirit quest to come to terms with all the things he’s done is his past, from the horrific to the just plain cowardly. Was it worth the wait? Join us for the podcast to find out what we thought.
Our dream of seeing AMC make an hour-long episode of “Cooking with Carol” finally comes true this week on TWD S10E21: “Diverged”. Seriously, Carol makes soup for AN ENTIRE HOUR and the episode is… well, about as good as our Cooking with Carol Skit. A big thank you to Mysteriana for creating the Watching Dead…
It’s a journey into the mind of Princess this episode with her, Zeke, Eugene and Yumiko are captured being thrown into cells and having to decide whether to try to escape or take the abuse in the name of establishing friendly relations with the stormtroopers. It’s not the most exciting episode of The Walking Dead but it’s a bonus episode… was anyone expecting it would be?

The second of the season 10 bonus episodes wasn’t quite as good as the first. Definitely more in line with what we expected from these episodes. Lots of walking in the woods, lots of isolation, and maybe the b-team of writers. The parallels were ambitious though, and the final scene is worth the price of admission. The marketing around these 6 episodes really had us confused before seeing the first one. I mean, are they or aren’t they part of season 10? Oh, the AMC announcement says they’re not? Then why does every place that makes these available, INCLUDING YOUR OWN WEBSITE, say they’re episodes 17 – 22 of season 10? Maybe you can understand why we thought they’d be completely extraneous viewing. We were pleasantly surprised, however. This first one at least, seems to be connecting to the larger story that we’re likely to see in season 11.
