Spider-Man is back in all of his web-swinging glory! As a sequel to the animation-pioneering 2018 movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse delivers on all the things that made the first movie great and more. There’s heart, creativity, and astounding animation. Maybe all superhero movies should be animated.
Catch some of the details that you might have missed in season 2. Is there more rationale to this show than we think, or are we grasping for straws? The adults don’t feel as relatable as they were in season 1. And certain plot points have been left by the wayside. One listener begs the question; are we as an audience ok?

Directed by Alfonso Cuarón, who has helmed many decorated dramas, and based on the book series by she-who-must-not-be-named, this movie takes a darker look at the whimsical world of Harry Potter.

The season finale is here and it was a hit and a miss. There were some strong plot choices that we’re looking forward to continuing in the next season. But characters are making choices that seem, well, out of character. The women at Lottie’s compound have some hard decisions to make. Walter continues to be an entertaining enigma. We still don’t know who the pit girl is, but we’re running out of teenagers.
Have you ever felt blue? Jesse Bruce Pinkman gets dyed blue in Down. The Smurf look is a not-so-subtle nod to the rising tensions between Skyler and Walt and the way in which Jesse himself is feeling. It’s pretty clear by this point in the show that Walt can’t keep his mouth shut, and thereby alienates Skyler. Pete and Courtney call into question Walt and Jesse’s belief that they are owed by their own families. Your hosts will sort through the emotional turmoil in the hardest episode of Breaking Bad to watch.
