Special thanks to Dave Dillon for commissioning the 1980s hit television series, Magnum P.I. We weren’t sure what to expect, but after seeing the two part series premiere, “Don’t Eat the Snow in Hawaii”, we’re ready to recognize the greatness of the Mustachioed One. From war scenes that Punch waaayyyy above their weight, to Magnum perving on French Stews, we found the series consistently entertaining.
Jim and A.Ron are not sure what to make of Arya’s plot tonight during the latest episode of Game of Thrones, “No One”. And yes, while the Mountain wrecking and Sandor chopping was admittedly cool, and the 30 seconds of Dany kind of made up for Tyrion’s stale comedy stylings, and far be it from us to look askance at any scene where Jaime and Brienne make moon eyes at each other and speak of honor, we’re kind of bummed that the King and High Sparrow seems to have dumped a bucket of cold water on our Cleganebowl hopes. No man is as accursed as a Hypeslayer, Tommen.

A.Ron and Jim saw The Conjuring 2 tonight, and thought it had some solid thrills and chills. We give our overall impressions and review up front, then discuss the many new trailers we saw before the film, before finally getting down and dirty in a no holds barred spoiler section. You’ll have to be a Club Bald Move Member to get that part though, but for everyone else, enjoy the free review and trailer discussion!
A.Ron and Cecily cover the latest episode of Showtime’s Penny Dreadful, “No Beast So Fierce”. Also, A.Ron does terrible impressions and Cecily recounts the time she was propositioned as a creature of the night at 8:30 in the morning on the mean streets of Indianapolis. Plus feedback!
How will it all end? Will House Forrester be able to defeat the Whitehill menace? Can the North Grove remain a secret? How many more poorly-written songs will they have to endure? Any more potato fucking? All will be revealed in the finale episode of Telltale’s Game of Thrones.
We’re here to get HYPE and talk about Game of Thrones latest episode, “The Broken Man”. The big questions: what’s next for Sandor? Does it involve a reunion with his bigger, badder, deader brother? What the seven hells did we just see happen with Arya? Was that even Arya? How is Jaime going to flush the Blackfish down the toilet? What’s Sansa up to, and is it going to be the worst or greatest thing ever? So much to discuss, and you get an extra long podcast of analysis and feedback from our fellow fans to help you get ready for the wars episodes to come.
