Our first lunch of 2021 starts off with a discussion of what we got up to during our time off and some of the gifts we got for Christmas. Then I go all in on a new NAS, we talk about watch parties, A.Ron eviscerates Chrysler with a scathing rant, we talk fantasy books and our reading habits, and more. And during the whole lunch, we manage to only talk a little about what went down in our Capitol two days ago.
A.Ron and Anthony mancrush on Tyrion for almost an hour. Steve reflects on Ned’s passing and Dany’s magical know-how. Does she know that she won’t burn on the pyre? Heather checks in to discuss the pros and cons of sweaty men.
It’s a slower episode this week as we set up for what’s sure to be a big finish. Amos and Claire figure out their next move while grappling with the monstrous implications of those actions, Bobbie and Alex try to survive on the float, and a tough choice is put to Drummer during her meeting with Marco.
Aron is back! Jan Doolittle Wilson talks disability relative to Bran, Tyrion, Jaime, and Hodor. Steve preps for the big climax of season 1. Aron and Anthony compare and contrast the Lannister brothers. Anthony answers an email about alternative narratives.
It’s only the middle of the season and things are already looking pretty bleak. More people barely escape with their lives, while the fate of others is completely up in the air. Join us for a whole lot of Amos love, speculation about the fate of the Roci’s pilot, and a Naomi / Miller easter egg.
Cecily and Alexis say goodbye to this season and more in this final episode. It was very bittersweet, and managed to wring out some genuine emotion compared to the season before. There is a lot on the line, and we can’t wait to talk about it again next season!

What would Christmas be without a heartfelt message of cheer and togetherness? Elf starts out on a sad and lonely note, but by the end our spirits are lifted.
