American Horror Story Podcast - 502 – Chutes and Ladders

In this podcast, covering American Horror Story: Hotel episode 502, “Chutes and Ladders”, we discuss the science of Glampires, origins of the Cortez, how the Ten Commandments killer could tie in with John’s backstory, and have a good old fashion show fist fight. All this, plus! Your horrifying feedback. Frost is on the pumpkin’s, ya’ll. See you next week!

American Horror Story Podcast - 501 – Checking In

First off, I apologize for the terrible audio quality of this podcast. As I explain in the intro, I’m doing a remote podcast from Seattle and the results are kind of garbage. Speaking of garbage, that’s kind of my opinion of the first half of the season premiere episode of American Horror Story: Hotel, “Checking In”. Then it starts to do some character and world building in the second half and picks up. We discuss Glampires, my thoughts on a man being sodomized with a chrome plated drill bit, Gaga’s eyebrows, and much more. With a bit of feedback, and a bit of spoilers at the very tail end. Hope you manage to enjoy it despite the crap sound, we’ll be back to normal next week!

American Horror Story Podcast - 413 – Curtain Call

Well, it’s the season finale of American Horror Story: Freak Show, episode 413, “Curtain Call”, and it’s a hot mess. What started off with so much Twisted promise devolved into a Dandy just never quite got there and too little, too late Chester. In this podcast, we talk our overall thoughts on the season, on the happy Freaks ending, and make predictions for next year. All this, plus a Ima Wiggles sized portion of feedback, and much more.

American Horror Story Podcast - 412 – Show Stoppers

Cecily and A.Ron muddle through a podcast for episode 412 of American Horror Story: Freak Show entitled “Show Stoppers”. The episode had one hilariously awesome moment between Chester and Maggie, an awkward homage to the classic horror film “Freaks”, and a dumb plot for dumb Jimmy about his dumb hands where he screams and yells a lot. On the positive side, lots of our extremely smart listeners were shot calling and balling their predictions, which is always fun. At the end, we’re left wondering what to expect for the finale next week, “Curtain Calls”? All this, plus a good helping of feedback. See you next week, freaks!

American Horror Story Podcast - 411 – Magical Thinking

American Horror Story: Freak Show returns and so do we! We very much enjoyed NPH’s arrival to our little traveling circus, because who the hell doesn’t like NPH? We also discuss the fate of Dell, our continued lack of interest in all things Jimmy, the marital arrangements of Chester, whether “The Molester” is a good idea for a stage name, and much more. All this, and your feedback, coming at ya!

American Horror Story Podcast - 409 – Tupperware Party Massacre

We got a lot of things we weren’t expecting out of American Horror Story in this episode 410, “Tupperware Party Massacre”. Things like audible fapping, the human wreckage of Drunk Jimmy, and a complete lack of song and dance. But we got a lot of good stuff too, primarily in Sarah Paulson’s riveting performance as both Bett and Dott as they come to terms with their shared lives and loves. But it still feels like something is missing. You feeling us on this? Let us know in the feedback section!

American Horror Story Podcast - 408 – Blood Bath

A.Ron and Cecily are kind of lukewarm on this episode 408 of American Horror Show: Freak Show entitled “Blood Bath”. Strong performances by Kathy Bates and Jessica Lange can’t quite elevate the surrounding cast and material, and we were super bummed at Maggie raining on the whole revenge against Papa Candy Striper parade. On a positive note, the Dandy reclaims a lot of his creepy swag. All this, plus lots more opinions, and some fellow fan feedback. Enjoy!

American Horror Story Podcast - 407 – Test of Strength

This week A.Ron and Cecily are a bit underwhelmed by this episode, though it did have its moments. We discuss Jimmy’s singing career, Eve’s awesomeness, the limits of Paul’s acceptance of the Candy Striper, AKA ‘Lil Meryl, Richard Edgington’s crappy plotting, and of course, how Del is a complete and total a-hole. All this, your feedback, and a smidgen of spoilers at the very end.

American Horror Story Podcast - 406 – Bullseye

Cecily and A.Ron found this episode a fairly uncomfortable watch. Poor Paul, poor Ma Petite, poor all the freaks under the increasingly merciless rule of Ms. Mars, poor us the audience trying to get through another bloated 75 minute episode. But we, like them, must endure. Join us in a rollicking discussion about candy stripers, villainous “Wheel” monologues, desert hearts filled with dust and scorpions, and much more. All this, your feedback, and a bit of spoiler talk at the very end.
