Better Cast Saul - 303 – Sunk Costs

“Sunk Costs” is able to perfectly balance the tension in the dueling Mike/Jimmy story lines being juggled on AMC’s Better Call Saul, with clear stakes for both our protagonists as they form powerful alliances and prepare to do battle with worthy foes. Mike’s machinations against Hector offer the most visceral thrills, but Jimmy’s legal battle against his brother promises the most twists and turns. Will Jimmy’s legal license survive? Will his relationship with Kim weather this latest storm?

Fargo - 301 – The Law of Vacant Places

FX’s Fargo is back for it’s third season, and it’s visually exciting and is chock full of colorful characters played by gifted actors and we’re all having a lot of fun. But it’s also the exact same Fargo formula we’ve seen in the movie and in two seasons of the show. Is that a problem, and if it is, what will the series offer as a change or curveball this year, especially give that we weren’t all that thrilled with the UFO twist of season two? Aw, jeez. In the meantime, we discuss “The Law of Vacant Places”, brush up on the rules of Bridge, and make sure our air conditioners are properly secured before considering a bit of feedback. See you next week!

Following The Leftovers - 301 – The Book of Kevin

We are thrilled that HBO’s The Leftovers are back, and in fine form. Three years after the battle for Jardin is over, our favorite characters are still grappling with what to believe and what is real, with mysteries old and new. From the opening historical drama of The Great Disappointment to the enigmatic ending, it did nothing but confirm that this is one of the smartest, most beautiful shows around and that we are in for one hell of a ride. All this, feedback, and a very light spoiler section at the very end of the podcast, coming right up.

Watching Dead - A Walking Dead Podcast - Season 7 Wrap Up!

Jim and A.Ron say goodbye once again to AMC’s The Walking Dead, but first, we have some things to get off our chest and a ton of feedback from our fellow fans to share. What lane does the Dead need to stay in? How long can it last? How big a star is Andrew Lincoln, anyway? Will the War with Negan last 8 episodes, or 16? Just how many episodes of Trash People backstory will we be inflicted with? Should Gimple and company just let Heath go? All this and more will be discussed!
