Gladiators Jimmicus and A.Rixus step into the Colosseum to duel (chat) about the best arena fight this year. Gladiator II is the surprise sequel from auteur Ridley Scott that features the same level of powerful performances and exciting combat as the original. Now, you may have some pressing questions if you’ve seen Gladiator (2000). Like, how could the plot logically happen? Well, Ridley Scott has the answers for you…and he’ll make sure you understand.
Ethan Coen sets out as a solo director once again to give us Drive Away Dolls. A quirky romp full of intentionally offensive humor, one unforgettable MacGuffin, and drug-fueled sequences. It’ll make you laugh, it’ll make you cringe. And Jim can’t think of any innuendos off the cuff…probably a good thing.

Nic Cage is back! Not that he went anywhere. It’s more than just a Nic Cage highlights reel with family drama, action pieces, and actual funny moments that weren’t spoiled by the trailers. Not to mention an amazing performance from Pedro Pascal. If you enjoy the enigmatic being that is the legendary Nic Cage, or even if you don’t, it’s a fun movie.
Jim and A.Ron saw Kingsman: The Golden Circle tonight, and pronounce it stupid, but fun. Maybe ever so slightly less stupid than the first one, but also maybe not reaching quite the dizzying heights of crazy either. But everyone in the movie looked like they were in on the joke and having the time of their lives, which helps tremendously. Everyone looks like a million bucks, the stunts are awesome and entertaining, and there are great cameos and dare we say smart payoffs to stupid jokes from the previous film. You probably already know if you’re going to see this movie or not, and if so, relax, you’re going to have a good time.
