Special thanks to podcast commissioner Julie Webster for pulling the trigger on the Mitchell Lichtenstein film, “Teeth”, starring Jess Weixler. It is a frequently funny, sometimes creepy, yet often insightful look at the mythology behind vagina dentata, or “toothed vagina”. This movie has severed peen for days, ya’ll. They guys spend the better part of an awkward hour discussing the film and related topics, hope you enjoy
Welp, our journey through Tarantino’s films has come to a close. We laughed, we cried, we reviled in horror as Eric and Levi attempted hideous accents. Consider this your wrap-up thread for Tarantino. How would you rank Tarantino’s films? What are your favorite Tarantino-isms? Are you a Big Kahuna person or a Red Apple person? Discuss!
The eighth film from Quentin Tarantino just hit theaters. It’s a rip-roarin’ character study bundled up in the Wyoming winter. Samuel L. Jackson gives an Oscar-worthy performance as ruthless bounty hunter Major Marquis Warren, and headlines a cast of big characters with big motives and big payoff. Join us for this in-depth look at QT’s latest flick, and come back next week for our wrap-up of our Tarantino watch-through.
With our hearts swelled three sizes, we offer our best wishes for a Merry Christmas or Yule season, or just the end of a great 2015, as we close out the Days of Bald Move Christmas! Jim and I cannot thank you enough for sharing in our love of television and success throughout the last year, and today is a time to reflect on how lucky we are, and to say “thank you” from the bottoms of our hearts.
Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year to all!
Merry Christmas everyone! Jim and I decided to give ourselves and you all a little gift. We’re massive Godfather fans, BUT! In spite of, or maybe because of, this fact, we’ve never, ever seen The Godfather Part III. On one cold and blustery Ohio day last week, we remedied this situation, and recorded our reactions immediately following our first viewing. The result may be a surprise!
