We got a lot of things we weren’t expecting out of American Horror Story in this episode 410, “Tupperware Party Massacre”. Things like audible fapping, the human wreckage of Drunk Jimmy, and a complete lack of song and dance. But we got a lot of good stuff too, primarily in Sarah Paulson’s riveting performance as both Bett and Dott as they come to terms with their shared lives and loves. But it still feels like something is missing. You feeling us on this? Let us know in the feedback section!
Heisenbuns! Windy Wendy! Badger making sweet love to a barrel of methylamine! What more do you want? Breaking Bad episode 203, “Bit By A Dead Bee” delivers. We talk about it all, including your feedback and a fairly rocking spoiler section.
Jim and A.Ron give an exhaustive look at the first half of season five, and then look forward to the next half. Where are we going? Who’s going to live? Who’s going to die? Up front is the non spoiler speculation and theories, then we go to our spoiler section and we try to plot…
May the force be with you, always. Many, many thanks to Andrew Mount for commissioning this podcast using our Subbable site, and effectively PAYING us to WATCH STAR WARS! Oh my god, 11 year old me would lose his MIND if he found out. Jim and I are OG Star Wars fans, and have been BSing about it for literally decades. What do we think of a movie we’ve seen hundreds of times? How has our fandom changed over the years? What the heck is wrong with Lucas, anyway? The answers to this and much more lie in this podcast. Listen. It is your destiny.
A.Ron and Cecily are kind of lukewarm on this episode 408 of American Horror Show: Freak Show entitled “Blood Bath”. Strong performances by Kathy Bates and Jessica Lange can’t quite elevate the surrounding cast and material, and we were super bummed at Maggie raining on the whole revenge against Papa Candy Striper parade. On a positive note, the Dandy reclaims a lot of his creepy swag. All this, plus lots more opinions, and some fellow fan feedback. Enjoy!
Jim and A.Ron enjoy a very strong second episode of season two, “Grilled”. Tense, exciting, and in genuine Breaking Bad fashion, darkly hilarious in places, “Grilled” has the boys pumped to re-discover the rest of season two.
We have arrived at yet another The Walking Dead mid-season finale, which crashed into the front steps of the church along with Abraham and company. All of our groups have come back together to bravely face another half season, with one notable exception. What is the final verdict on season 5A? How did Carol make her…
Jim and A.Ron offer their initial impressions of The Walking Dead’s mid-season finale, episode 508 “Coda”. On the one hand, it wasn’t as bad as we feared. But that’s not the same as being good. Which is also not the same as being bad. It’s complicated, and we try to figure it out. Join us…
Kelly & Tom eviscerate The Painted Veil, which they did not like at all, not one bit. They spend a surprising amount of time discussing Pablo Schreiber as they applaud the way Toby Jones is filmed in this movie, debate how cholera affects the real estate market in rural China, enroll at the Nicole Kidman…
