Join us for a wrapup with our thoughts on the success of this year’s 24hr Groundhog Day charity marathon followed by an interview with CureAlz.org project coordinator, Connor.
Another year of charity marathons is in the books and it was certainly worthy. This year we raised $17047.74 for the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund and had a ton of fun doing it. Join us as we recap the event and for a special wrapup interview with Connor from the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund discussing their work as well as the damage that Alzheimer’s does and preventative measures you can take to reduce your likelihood of developing it.
Jim and A.Ron have shockingly never done a review of the 1993 film, Groundhog Day, despite having watched it live on stream for 24 hours previously.
At long last we’re ready to wrap up our second annual “Groundhog Day” Star Wars movie marathon! With the help and support of the Bald Move community, we raised $15,691.51 for the National Alliance to End Homelessness over 24 grueling hours of non-stop Star Wars watching. There was food, there was mugs, there were socks. Mark Hamill gave us a tip of his cap. Bidets were raffled. Jim and A.Ron break down their thoughts and feelings on the event, and dish on plans for future marathons, then invite Ben Noll from the National Alliance to discuss their mission and how they feel they can truly end homelessness. Thanks everyone for helping to make this a smashing success, and we can’t wait to see what happens next year!
So Jim and I did this 24 hour Groundhog Day marathon on Groundhog Day, and ended up raising $10,205 for the homeless! You can watch the entire thing on YouTube if you’re so inclined, but if you want to know the highlights, listen to this podcast. We couldn’t be prouder of the Bald Move family. We truly felt like we really came together and did something special.
We’re watching the 1993 movie Groundhog Day for 24 hours, starting on February 2nd, 2018 @ 12:01AM EST.
