This is just an announcement to let everyone know that we’ll be covering AMC’s spinoff series Fear The Walking Dead starting next week.
Jim and A.Ron ponder “Mas”, the fifth episode of season three of AMC’s Breaking Bad. In which Jesse resumes business, Gus is nakedly transparent, the Aztec takes yet another hit, while Walt at all times simply respects the chemistry.
Andrew “The Commissioner” Mount has indicated a fifth movie that needs some Bald Move attention, this time the 2012 horror “The Cabin in the Woods”. Written by Joss Whedon and directed by long time collaborated Drew Goddard, and staring the Mighty Thor, it was what I would describe as a pleasant surprise. I was prepared for a stock slasher flick, and what I got was… something more than that. Can’t really say much else, and if you’re a horror fan who somehow missed this, I encourage you to give it a watch before you give this a listen.
Jim and A.Ron attempt to have a nuanced discussion on the ups and downs of Season Two of True Detective. We talk about what worked, what didn’t, the possibility of a RenaiVance, and wonder about the identity of the series as we anticipate Season Three. If you’ve enjoyed our coverage of Season One and Two, please consider leaving us a positive iTunes review or supporting us with the links below. If you’re super mad that we never learned how to pronounce Edd-i-pus, or we otherwise gave you blueballs of the heart, there’s always the option for the scathing one star review. As for us? No rest. Never stop moving. Hopefully we’ll see you later on for Fargo / The Leftovers / The Walking Dead.
Jim and A.Ron continue their summer BrBa rewatch with episode 304, “Green Light”. If you can’t get enough Breaking Bad deep dives, check out the Heisenberg Chronicles posts on 3×04: Factoids, locations, observations, fan art, gifs and more, courtesy Shane B.!

This Australian crime drama from 2010 really snuck up on us. It’s not what you might think given only that description, but it delivers the goods. We talk about a mother who kisses her children just a little too long, some of the excellent performances, and how it stacks up against other films in the gangster genre.
Jim and A.Ron talk about “A Young Doctor’s Notebook”, “Top of the Lake”, Rocket League, maker mania, kayaking, and show off the backside of the Bald Move studio.
Pi’ilani and Cecily are back with A.Ron to give season three an epic send off. We discuss our final thoughts on the Piper/Alex/Stella triangle, thoughts on Piper’s Panty Business moving forward, where Sophia goes from here, touch on Healy and Caputo, and try to anticipate some of the plots and resolutions for season four. All this plus some last minute feedback from our fellow fans. Thanks for a great season, everybody, and we’ll see you next year.
