In this podcast, covering American Horror Story: Hotel episode 502, “Chutes and Ladders”, we discuss the science of Glampires, origins of the Cortez, how the Ten Commandments killer could tie in with John’s backstory, and have a good old fashion show fist fight. Fargo - 201 – Waiting for Dutch

Jim and A.Ron are flabbergasted at what Fargo is able to get away with doing and still remain Fargo. It’s pretty incredible, actually. We discuss the mid-west gang war that provides the broad strokes of the season, lay odds on how many different way’s A.Ron will manage to pronounce “Gerhardt”, talk about Jesse Plemmon’s enduring “MATT DAY-MON” impression that he keeps finding ways to get paid for, and talk about our first impressions of the weird and wonderful characters we’ve met so far. All this, and some insanely smart emails from our impressively educated fellow fans, and you got your self a real hummer of a podcast, you betcha!

American Horror Story Podcast - 501 – Checking In

First off, I apologize for the terrible audio quality of this podcast. As I explain in the intro, I’m doing a remote podcast from Seattle and the results are kind of garbage. Speaking of garbage, that’s kind of my opinion of the first half of the season premiere episode of American Horror Story: Hotel, “Checking In”. Then it starts to do some character and world building in the second half and picks up. We discuss Glampires, my thoughts on a man being sodomized with a chrome plated drill bit, Gaga’s eyebrows, and much more. With a bit of feedback, and a bit of spoilers at the very tail end. Hope you manage to enjoy it despite the crap sound, we’ll be back to normal next week!

Fargo - Season 2 Preview

Jim and A.Ron are ready for Fargo season two to start next week, and to get the ball rolling we have a mini-preview / roundup of casting news, plot outlines, early advance reviews, episode titles, and a bit of feedback. Fargo begins this coming Monday, and our podcasts will be out each following Wednesday. See you then!

Justified - 613 – “The Promise”

Jim and A.Ron send off Justifed in style with a nearly two hour reflection on the final episode (#613 – “The Promise”) and series as a whole… In this podcast, we discuss the shortcomings of the plot underpinning this season, but the overall strength of the characters, our affections for same, our favorite moments, how we rank the seasons against each other, and our favorite quotes. Plus, tons of your great feedback, and much more. It’s been fun everybody! Take it easy…

Justified - 612 – “Collateral”

Aside from our very high expectations, we discuss Raylan’s crossing the outlaw line, and what that will mean for Art, Tim, and Rachel, Vasquez’s impotence, Boyd’s third explosive encounter for the season, Duffy’s new mobile dog washing business plan, empty chambers, and Sam Elliot turning up the vocal gravel to 11. Can’t wait for next Tuesday, and don’t forget to send in any Justified season overall opinions or series final thoughts, as we’ll be wrapping up our coverage next week! See you then.

Justified - 611 – “Fugitive Number One”

Jim and A.Ron were gobsmacked by the latest Justified, episode 611 entitled “Fugitive Number One”… Yost shamed us for all our criticism by deploying a pulse pounding, shocking, awesome, and very tight hour that sets the table beautifully for an epic final two episodes. What more could you want as a fan of Justified. On that note, we discuss our fraudulent fandom, Mikey, er, I mean Michael’s amazing change of heart, Raylan being at a loss for words, his healthy fear of Art, and ponder who the most dangerous man in Harlan is at the moment. All this, your feedback, and lots more!
