American Horror Story Podcast - 704 – 11/9

Cecily and A.Ron take in the sights and sounds of American Horror Story: Cult’s episode 704, “11/9”, where we begin to see Kai laying the foundation of his crazy empire/cult.  A.Ron is deeply saddened to find out that, yeah, Ivy is probably in on this from the ground floor; Cecily is still in denial.  We also talk about Boris Carolla, gym jerking etiquette, the swift conversion of members of Kai’s cult, and lots and lots of feedback.  See you next week!

HOTD: A House of the Dragon Podcast - 704 – The Spoils of War

Jim and A.Ron break down the latest episode of HBO’s Game of Thrones, “The Spoils of War”.  An episode with sheer spectacle of the might of Daenerys’ armies unleashed upon Westoros balanced by great character moments with the Stark children in Winterfell and perhaps a budding romance between King and Queen, it’s basically everything you want in Game of Thrones.  We discuss Bran’s attachment to humanity and try to figure out exactly what he knows, analyze Littlefinger’s remaining options, geek out over Arya and Dany being badasses, and question Tyrion’s loyalty.  All this, plus tons of feedback!  And don’t forget, we’ll be back Friday with more lore, backstory, and book inspired theories and analysis.

Watching Dead - A Walking Dead Podcast - 704 – Service

Jim and A.Ron rap about AMC’s The Walking Dead episode 704, “Service”, and in keeping with the episode title, we’re thinking of stiffing the Gimple and company on their tip. The maniacal focus on single plot line story telling is doing real damage, not just to the pacing, but to their otherwise solid and memorable attempts at characterization with Negan and Dwight. Also, WHERE IS TARA AND HEATH?! Did they run into the crew of the S.S. Minnow and decide to take the three hour tour? On a positive note, the show has us really howling for Negan and his Savior’s heads, which is presumably something the show wants us to feel. Mission accomplished. All this and much more including feedback from our fellow fans coming right up!
