American Horror Story Podcast - 506 – Room 33

Happy Friday the 13th / Double White Russian day! A.Ron and Cecily are here to talk about the latest episode of American Horror Story: Hotel, “Room 33”. We were treated to a delightful if non-sequitur love affair between Liz and Tristan, more Alex being Alex, John being John, Gaga kind of being awful, Iris being a weapons akimbo badass, and poor Scarlet once again being the neglected afterthought. Oh, and Gaga has a baby glampire, which isn’t as glamorous as one would think. All this plus a bit of the ol’ mailbag, and we’ll see you back next week to hopefully figure out who the police have wrongfully connected to the TCK murders!

A.Ron here, ready to dish out some more speculation and theories for Game of Thrones! If you are adverse to spoilers, or are not caught up on all of the A Song of Ice and Fire series, you probably want to skip this episode…

Here is your Tinfoil topic archive, in cased you missed any and want to get caught up! Our tinfoil of the week is actually a tinfoil takedown, as A.Ron discusses the many problems he has with Preston Jacobs’s series of videos on the “Tower of Joy”.

HOTD: A House of the Dragon Podcast - 506 – Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken

There is a lot to like about this episode; some real movement with Arya’s plot that inspires a bit of awe and dread, some great quiet moments with Tyrion and Jorah, and some interesting moments of ham fisted court intrigue courtesy one Cersei Lannister. And then there’s everything about Dorne. And, you know, Sansa. Hopefully, we, the show, and Sansa will all bounce back next week. Until then, enjoy the podcast and the feedback, and get ready for our SpoiLORE cast extravaganza coming out Friday. See you then!

Speakeasy - 506 – “Devil You Know”

Jim and A.Ron get down to the business of talking about episode 506 of HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, “Devil You Know”.  We say good bye to some old friends, witness shocking introductions in the Silver Age, observe more evidence of #9’s identity, and watch Nucky engage in a riveting game of Strip Epic Poetry Recital.  All…

Breaking Good - 506 – Buyout

In this week’s episode, we have a bit of purely speculative (read: most likely bullshit) news on the future of Breaking Bad after the final season concludes, as well as new theme music courtesy some friends of ours in Germany (see bottom of show notes for more details)! We then do our customary recap, where we discuss the greatest cold open in Breaking Bad history, Todd’s new pet, Gomez as the worst field agent in DEA history, the anti-christ’s methylamine, the most uncomfortable dinner scene this side of Star Trek VI, Mike’s restraint half-measure, and Walt’s sublimely smug, punch-able face. All this and your feedback and a BOMBSHELL spoiler segment. DO NOT LISTEN UNLESS YOU WANT TO POTENTIALLY SPOIL THE END OF THIS SEASON!
