The penultimate episode of SfFy’s The Expanse, “Congregation”, finds our subsection of humanity trapped within the ring station making so very hasty, and perhaps rash, decisions. Firing super powerful lasers, setting off nukes, just in general Fourth of Julying it up in there. The ring doesn’t like it, and now that same subsection of humanity has 7 hours to make things right. Aside from the end of all human life as we know it, there’s also some really good bits with Amos and Anna, Naomi and ROBODRUMMER, and we continue to be impressed with Ashford’s leadership and diplomacy. Aside from, you know, the whole Fourth of July thing. Jim and Levi will take it from here for the finale, but don’t forget, we’ll be back next week with a wrap up pod where we finalize our season three coverage, so send us some feedback and tell us what you’re thinking!
A.Ron and Jim near the end of their re-watch of Breaking Bad season 3, with the thrilling episode “Half Measures”. An incredible episode that has you wondering what’s in store for next week’s installment, which is “Full Measure”. We discuss one of the all time great cold opens in BrBa history, “Wendy”, Marie’s motivational, uh, “techniques”, Mike’s shadowy past, and Walt’s Aztek at it’s most badass and heroic. As next episode will be our last Breaking Bad cast ever, we paused in our coverage to allow you guys to have your say about the series as a whole, or whatever is on your mind. Use the links below to get in touch with us, and we’ll see you back next week to say goodbye to Breaking Bad.
Jim and A.Ron have been waiting for a breathless thrill ride these last few hours, but in episode 312, “Chapter 38”, what we’re getting is MacBeth. And maybe that’s okay?… Either way, Doug is back in a big way, Claire is shaken to her core, Dunbar dons the black hat, Thomas finds he has a story that must be told, and is Seth really going to be the professional? All this is considered and much more. What will the season finale hold? Tune in Friday and find out!
