“Chapter Eight” adds quite a bit of depth to the character of Frank Underwood, a character that even a half season in we just don’t know that much about. We find out about his not-so-illustrious history as a student at the Citidel, his career as part of an acapello quartet, The Sentinels, that he has a brand new library opening which his former protege, with Sancorp’s bankroll, funded… and one other thing that has slipped my mind. Meanwhile Pete manages to find a bit of spine, showing us that he might have more in common with Frank than where they have their offices.
