This episode is a cry for help from the writer’s room. This episode reveals that the non-linear storytelling was more of a crutch than anything else. However, the emotional beats within this episode reach a depth hitherto never seen on The Walking Dead. As we gear up for the finale, we’re holding out hope that this could actually stick the landing (in TWD terms of course).
