What is Subbable?
Subbable is a platform for funding your favorite online content creators. It allows you to donate money to an ongoing project on a monthly or one-time basis.
How is Subbable different from Kickstarter?
When you back a kickstarter project, you have to pay for your reward all at once. This can be tough if you want a larger reward, and may even keep you from getting what you want.
With Subbable, you can back a project for a certain amount each month, say $10, and all of those dollars will be banked. So if you want a $100 perk, you can spend $10 each month and on the 10th month, you’ll be able to order the $100 perk.
Think of it this way if you’d like: Subbable is Kickstarter with layaway.
How do I get started?
If you’re not already a Subbable member:
- Go to Subbable.com and click the “Sign Up” button.
- Sign in with a google account
- Allow Subbable to access some very basic information so they can communicate with you.
- Accept the User Agreement.
If you’re already a member or have just signed up:
- Go to the Creators page and find Bald Move.
- Put an amount from $0 to $5000 in the Subscribe or One-Time Payment box and click the button.
- If the amount is more than $0, you’ll have to sign in with, or create, an Amazon account. That’s currently the only way to donate.
