Jim and A.Ron talk about the upcoming season three of SyFy’s The Expanse. We talk about our experience with the show (and Jim’s recent experience reading the first three books in the series by James S. A. Corey) and our thoughts about where we left off last season and where we think we’re headed. Other topics include our spoiler policy, our favorite characters, the Rocinante’s power level, and much more.
Today we’re here to talk about the 2004 SyFy reimagined Battlestar Galactica. Jim loves this series, I have problems with it. Still, we talk for nearly two hours and find what we think will be a lot of common ground with any fan of the show. Despite my misgivings I do recognize it’s quality and importance to Sci-Fi in general. So say we both. Special thanks to our intrepid community of commissioners who made this podcast possible. Jim and A.Ron discuss their feelings about SyFy’s season two of The Expanse. Should you be watching it? What worked? What didn’t? What are our hopes and fears for season three?
Cecily stops by the studio to chat with A.Ron about HBO’s Girls two episodes into the final season (00:03:12), and then both sing praises about the resurgence of FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s twelfth season (00:21:51). Also, shhh… don’t tell anyone, but we’re watching SyFy’s The Expanse! (00:38:06)
