Have to admit, i am in love with the baby dragons and anything they do so i enjoyed the burning of the undying, could have been better i think he went out a bit easily but he let his guard down like any villain might do
also the throne room scene i took as ash, as opposed to snow/winter, should it be meant to entice Daenyrys to stay there it’d be a future sight of her dragons having won her the throne, i think i took this approach of thinking because someone (Tywin maybe Eddard) making an allusion to what happened previously with the dragons having overtaken the kingdom, burning through everything

Since you asked for fanboy wishes for actors to play the new roles here are the characters that are confirmed to be in season 3 and who I would like to see playing them:
Mance Rayder, the Wildling “King beyond the Wall”
I agree with your previous listener that Viggo Mortenson would be an excellent choice for the role. Another name that has been thrown around by fans is Ian McShane who I know primarily for his part as the main villain in the Showtime miniseries The Pillars of the Earth.
Tormund Giantsbane, a Wildling raider
This is a bit of a pipedream but I think it would be epic if they could get John Rhys-Davies (a.k.a Gimli from LOTR).
Daario Naharis, a Tyroshi mercenary captain
I have no idea about this character.
Jojen and Meera Reed, two young Crannogmen siblings
I’m not sure about Jojen, but I have always thought that Anna Popplewell (who played Susan in the Chronicles of Narnia) would fit the role nicely also she has been casted by Nina Gold (the casting director for Game of Thrones) four times already.
Edmure Tully, Catelyn Stark’s brother and head of House Tully
Again, a pipedream, but I always pictured this guy looking like Faramir.
Brynden Tully, the “Blackfish”, Catelyn’s uncle
Jeremy Irons, make it happen Benioff and Weiss
Selyse Baratheon, Stannis Baratheon’s wife
Again, I have no idea who could play this role, I would imagine it is hard to find an actress with a noticeable moustache.
Shireen Baratheon, Stannis’s daughter
I think it was announced that she has already been cast I do not know who, though.
Olenna Redwyne, the “Queen of Thorns”, Margaery Tyrell’s grandmother
Maggie Smith. Do I really need to argue this one.
Beric Dondarrion, the leader of the “Brotherhood without Banners” (the character already appeared briefly in a scene in season 1)
As a stickler for consistency part of me hopes they cast the actor who played him in his cameo in the first season
Thoros of Myr, a red priest with the Brotherhood
Again, no idea.
He has not been announced yet, but if they cast Ramsay Snow/Bolton I really hope they get Cillian Murphey he played the Scarecrow in Batman Begins, and therefore has experience playing **spoilers** dangerous psychopaths.

Having not read the books, the Tyrion story played out more or less as I expected. Tyrion undermined the authority of the king in the battle. He rallied the people to fight for themselves, not for the king or for any reward. No way Joffrey was going to let that stand.

OK Bald Dudes, I’m Tony from Philly this is my first post on here. I’ll miss you guys until Walking Dead.
Is it just me or does Jorah seem like a mix between the Dos Equis world’s most interesting man and J. Peterman. I feel like he’s gonna steal that gold peacock and put it is his catalog and then put back some Mexican barley.
As for pics for next season’s new characters. How about Ray Stevenson for any bad ass role, Mance Rayder perhaps? or Brian Blessed? He was Augustus in I Claudius and Prince Vultan in Flash Gordon.
If you want some political intrigue to tied you over, I highly recommend I Claudius, it’s even more absurd than Game of Thrones, except murder, battle, poisoning, adultery, treachery etc actually happened. They don’t show the battles on screen but, the death toll in any one of those battles is greater than the total number of combatants in Blackwater!
Also during the next 10 months folks should watch HBO’s Rome, it is even better than Game of Thrones at political intrigue and does a great job with action on a budget. Ray Stevenson as Titus Pullo is the most badass. He needs to be in Game of Thrones, I just don’t want him tortured or disfigured.
You guys rule, I’m gonna watch Breaking Bad so I can keep up with you. No Madmen for me, if I’m gonna watch self absorbed people be shitty to each other, I better actually see boobs and there better be swords, bloodshed, and or zombies.
Oh as an avid bird watcher, Ravens and Crows are closely related but different species.

I have a burning question that I would really, really like answered. In the season finale who actually blew the horn 3 times for the white walkers? I thought the Wall was not manned since the entire Nights Watch marched out beyond the wall. Did someone at the wall see the white walkers from that far a distance, and blow the horn? If so, does that mean the White Walkers were marching on the wall?

Also on a side note, as agenda driven as Varys seems, it seems to Me that He might be one of the more standup guys in the series as crazy as it may sound. He visited Ned in His cell during His last days. When Tyrion is wounded He came over and was the only one from the court to show up and offer kind words.

@Saedaden: I imagine it was one of the sentries the Night’s Watch posted up on the Fist of the First Men (which was where the White Walker was directed his wight horde at).

You guys rock! I’d love to see you do a Jon Snow Theory recap, but totally understand the time constraints. I was wondering where you see Edric Storm’s place in the ASOIAF mythology? Also, any speculation on the fate of Benjin Stark? Big fan, doing my part each week spreading the word with my facebook friends.
