209 – “Triggerfinger” – Watching Dead
In this peach of an episode, A.Ron and Jim discuss some insights from Glen Mazzara’s recent interview with Vulture, the politics of Rachero del Herschel, the relative upper body strength of Mrs. Grimes, the unluckiest jumper in the world, the newly found artfulness of The Walking Dead, the effectiveness of Andrea as Shane’s ambassador, and a ton of listener thoughts and spoilers.
Note: As with last week, we dish some no-shit, for-real spoilers in the spoiler section of the cast. Remember, you’re always going to be safe and spoiler free if you turn off your player before our outro music plays.

I was overall much happier with this episode than last week. There was less stupidity on the part of the characters (save for the fence/leg incident), and I liked Hershel packing heat. The end was cheesy and wrong though.

One big continuity complaint:
They entered the bar in daylight. The two other guys came in during what appeared to be late afternoon/evening. The shootout was soon after that, and when they fled the bar it was totally dark. That’s all questionable, but okay. However, when they get back to the farm, it’s the next morning! So now it’s a 12 hour drive from town?
